CE Course - Child Maltreatment: Perspectives & Techniques for Child Advocacy - Fresno & Irvine

This course will be held via video-conference from the live workshop at the Fresno campus.
This workshop is the second course for the child advocacy studies certification. It covers the responses of various systems to child maltreatment, the legal framework and court processes, models and techniques of forensic interviewing and investigation, mandatory reporting issues and cases, suggestions for testifying in court, and other pertinent issues pertaining to child maltreatment and child advocacy.
The course is designed for those in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, law, education or other areas where knowledge of child maltreatment and advocating for children might be necessary.

This conference is sponsored by The Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT) at Alliant International University.
